You guys crack me up with this topic. Any car that is built for performance can whip the living **** out of another car if it's modded up enough. Lots of Horsepower = lots of $$$$, lots of $$$$ = one bad*** car that will rip someone a new a**hole when they try to race em...lol...end of story!!

I never said my car would win, I'm just saying stock versus stock they are equal, motortrend/C&D have good test drivers and both cars got the same 1/4 times.
I'm not stupid I know 4 cyl can run, and run quick but eventually they will maximize their potential. I've seen tons of youtubes with cobras and blown gts getting smoked but liked earlier stated if you got money you can make anything quick.
The 8 cylinder is the current perfect motor check out the rail top fuel cars none of them run 4 or 6 or more than 8 cylinders and those are the quickest wheel driven vehicles.

Like I said earlier 4 cyl. only have so much potential, and 8's have more. But I'm not stupid my car won't beat nicely modded 4 cyl. I don't have the money to compete.

stangman i have yet to see a stock srt4 run a low 13 and if it has been done that has to be the fastest stock srt4 made so i would like to see proof. Also i know those cars can be monsters with the right stuff done to them. Stallion your just an idiot who was talking about an evo we are talking about an srt4. a big displacement car vs a small displacement car with a turbo and last time i checked an srt4 is not as fast as a evo.

I simply like my car because its quick for what it is, it looks better than a skittle IMO, and I like the sound of a V8. There is always gonna be a faster car out there ya just gotta get over it.

When I had my cobalt, there was always the argument between the SS supercharged and SRT-4 times. SRT's consistently run low 14s while SS/SC's run mid 14's (tested at 14.6). They do NOT run low 13's they are no STi

A 17 PSI stock turbo srt-4 will run mid 13s on street tires. Gears and a tune will help you quite a bit. That and full exhaust should put you in the low to mid 13 second range also.

Stage 2 is still the stock turbo. Just tuned to it's max potential.

Since I got to college here at OU, I just realized how many honda's run around here compared to last year. Revvin their engines everytime I go by haha.
SRT-4s are overrated compared to what?

Also so what about the psi... the Lancer evolution is running 21 psi stock. So... Yes they are nice, and fast, but just because it has a turbo doesnt mean it cant lose. Ive beaten plenty around here with mopar stage 2 kits, No nitrous. And there are plenty of mustangs beating SRT4 all over the place. Ps, race him from a dig... he is FWD.
What do you have done to your car? When I was stage 2, I ran 12.9@108
