3600 for KB? their cheapest kit for our cars which is non intercooled so you wouldn't want to run 10lbs is $3899

Thats correct. 5 grand buys me a GT35R turbo kit and exhaust. 500Whp on a very modest boost setting. 650 to 800 on a build motor. That should be enough to get me in the high 10s, low 11s. What could you do to get that kind of speed for 5 grand? I currently run high 11s with a smallish TDo5. You are correct about the 14 psi setting from the factory. I misunderstood your post and thought you were implying it was maxxed out at 14 and not 17.

yeah you're right about that, I forgot when I was looking at them I wasn't going to run more than like 7 psi. either way still under 5k.
but these last two pages mean nothing to me anymore, it has gotten way out of hand

So with the SRT4 you can swap out the turbo and build the block to hold that power for 5 grand?

Aint it crazy??? but I was saying you simply put the GT35R turbo kit which goes for about $3500, on at a lower boost setting to get the 500 wheel hp. (max the stock block can handle 500). Only reason I mentioned the 800Hp number is if your interested in also spending on the forged motor. (another 4 grand.)Many on my forum have run very low 11s with a 50 or 60 trim turbo and trapped close to 130. Both of these turbos are smaller than a GT35R.

I'm not sure what it would run(cause I don't know who would) but if you were going to max out your motors capabilities, and I did the same with the KB I think we would still be equal. Cause then I could take boost to like 12-13psi which is like the max my motor could handle

What about the drivetrain on the SRT4s? What do they need to actually put that power down and run those 10/11 second passes?
