TDI is right is not worth it. I've made a resolution of not racing on the streets any more. Now I only do it on the expressway if there isn't too much traffic and everything looks clear. Isn't the smartest thing to do but I don't do it for too long either so. I just try to have fun as safe as possible. I want to go to the track, next month I got a couple of friends to go. Lets see how it goes. Is going to be my first time on one. I'm hoping to break the 14.00 sec and get into 13's. Don't know. Just what I'm hoping for. Reality might be a little different but there's nothing wrong with dreaming right? What kills me are my tires. I can't launch over 2000 rpms bc I spun really bad so I'm planing of giving it as many passes as I can and start getting some track expirience.

 

Street kills don't mean a lot to me either, because such things as traction and reation times can vary greatly. just because you beat a certain model car on the street, doesn't mean you would beat them on the track.

 

Yah take this from someone who probably will be losing their license for a year Street Racing IS NOT WORTH IT.

Find someone with a private drive long enough to measure out a 1/4 mi. Then invite someone over if they want some.

The only thing I ever see that is worth racing are things that would rock my socks.

I never see anything that will go dead even with me. Except a couple mazdas........

 

I dunno, i haven't seen any numbers. The torque bump was only about 10 ft lbs more.

Lol, Lemme get this entire post through my system cause its the funniest thing ive ever read. I AM THE OWNER OF THE S2000 THAT U "SPANKED". Lets start off by saying i wont even mention u pulling up to me to give me the wave AFTER I PULLED U 4TH AND 5TH GEAR. Lets look beyond that for a second.

I pulled next to you and asked for a run from second gear, so i dropped it, i waited, i floored it, and u didnt go so i left off and put it in 3rd gear, u punched and i punched, after that NOONE PULLED UNTIL I MISSED MY 4TH GEAR LIKE A DICK. All i have to say is that if you really think u can oull me the way you did, IM CALLING YOU OUT! From a dig if u want a real race, but if ur down for the bitch ****, we can race from a roll. Ill even put down a little wager since u seem so cocky about spaking me. Im BONESTOCK with intake/exhaust. For those of you who know ANYTHING about s2000's you know that dosent do ****, unlike ur modded GT. So lets run buddy, id love to show you whats up.

 

uh oh here we go again but dude honestly, you didnt have to say all that **** just to say "im calling you out". You coulda just said something didnt need all that **** talking. I don't think anyone in this thread has ripped on your car, a lot of guys even said that they liked those cars so you just need to chill out.

He even said that he didnt expect to pull like he did against you so obviously he knew that something was up. He even said that "maybe the driver sucked" which is giving the car a lot of credit. Plus you did miss 4th so he was kinda right about the that part....sorta.... hopefully you get my point.

 

Demonite, i COMPLETELY agree with you and no one here would ever understand why im talking **** except the driver of that mustang. And he would know because his post was complete bull****. He didnt even mention the 2 races we ran before and how he pulle dup NEXT TO ME AND GAVE MEEE THE WAVE. As far as not being able to drive, LOL, i wont go there. Point being, LETS RACE.
