Vipers turn heads way more than Z06s. I'd own either one though!
Strap two turbos on that Viper and there is less than a handful of streetable cars out there that will even be in the same league with it in a straight line. Hell, there are very few street bikes that will be in the same league too!

Whats not impressive about a viper???
The stock 1/4 mile record is like 10.8 @ 128MPH. They will completely destroy anything short of an all out race car on a road course! (ACR model). All the ricer fan boys have to do is look how it pummels the GTR with it's all wheel drive and computer aided everything. What car curently holds the stock record around the 'Nürburgring'??? If you answered the Viper you would be correct. They look as good as any exotic on the road and usally compete with cars costing 2 to 3 times as much! Some of you guys with your ricer logic amaze me. the 11.6 the magazines post is sad. It's been proven with the Zo6 & the Viper they are capable of way better times than car & driver could ever manage. We can throw a big *** turbo on a Neon or Honda and go faster. You can throw 10 grand at a old fox body mustang and go faster also But if money was no object we'd all be driving Vipers or Ferraris or porsches, Etc. Then We'd be impressed.

I thought the z06 was 60k and the viper was 80k...
Anyway, the viper is a hell of a car in a straight line but is mostly built for track racing, and for it's price it's actually a bargain. The biggest problem the car has is just getting traction, slap some new tires on there and I bet you would see them in the 10's stock. If thats not impressive for a stock vehicle, you tell me what is. Not to mention they look a trillion times better than a Corvette.

and they have quite long gears too, 1st runs out at like 68mph or something like that
