What Does A Viper Run ?
You guys are ****.
Man those NASCAR cars are loud. Thank God I had a headset otherwise my ears would have been bleeding.
They were running up Juan Pablo's car right on a jack. What do you think would have happened had it fallen off?
That would have been neat to see.

Vipers in my opinion used to be the 'super car from the big 3....
then came the C6 Z and the GT, so now those are the 3.
they're the epitome of American Muscle though..
big displacement, lots of cylinders, loud, unruly, powerful....etc..
having said that, I'll NEVER buy one..NEVER EVER EVER EVER

you know what i mean douche nozzle..
if you think American Power, the generic sort of hillbilly statement is
gas guzzling, big motor, big torque, loud, nasty power...
I think of the GT and the Z06 as a bit more tame under the collar, (whether they really are or not is not what im getting at, but impressions lead me to think this way)

I'd buy a viper in a heartbeat, and I'd probably run it into the ground around a racetrack. Personally I think the GT is a little more racy than the viper, especially in the looks department, considering it was spawned directly from the 60's race car, and that's all it was intended to be.
The Z06 really originated from the base Corvette, so it's not like it was a car designed just to race, and the viper was just designed as a muscle car. It's original intent was to be a ***** to the wall car that had none of the little electronic things we now view as neccessities, but as a beast of a sports car.
The Ford GT40 however, did come from an all out race car from the 60's, and I mean it's squeezing the same 500+hp from a measly 5.4L V8, versus a 427 small block and an 8.2L V10? Sorry, but that screams race car to me, an 8.2L V10 doesn't, it screams GOD DAMNIT I'M GOING TO KILL YOU

lol,
but then of course than 5.4L is supercharged already... the other 2, are NA. so yes god damnit they will kill the ford!
Well yeah, I never meant that the GT40 was a better car, just that it was more race inspired than a viper.
I mean I believe that carroll shelby designed the viper as a logical progression after working on the cobra for America's Pony Car, to a powerful sports car, not necessarily a race car.
The GT40 however, was purely race inspired, a la.......

See the resemblance from the actual race car and the newer production car?
