Went to the last local "cruise-in" last night. Had a hell of a turnout, about 300 cars or so, anywhere from full prostreet cars to the 300-400hp imports to jacked-up crazy powered trucks. There are some absolutely beautiful cars around this area.

I called my brother to see where the hell he was, he said he was helping a buddy finish up a 5spd swap on his truck........?? He said I'd see when they got there. Well, they pull up in this nice, clean SONOMA, with a swapped in, cam'd LS1 !!!! Fit in there so snug and purtty, man that thing was bad. He had a few other boltons, not 100% sure of everything, but boy did it sound good. To top it off, he had black cobra rims on it, yeah, on a gm truck. Looked dam good too.

He made a grand exit at the end of the evening, lighting them up allllll the way across the empty part of the parking lot. He says traction is non existent in 1st, which is imaginable. So far he can only go from a 40 roll when running, so he still has some suspension work to do, but anyways. Just thought Id share.....

I know I know, Im gonna get some pics on here, wanna put some up of the ol mans termie too (comp orange vert, 18in bogarts, yada yada, 469whp sex on wheels)

 

This really does not have anything to do with Mustangs, I really don't want to move it to OT, because that section is ghey. Give me a good reason to leave it here.

well i have to agree with JD that it doesn't belong here, but not cause it has nothing to do with stangs, just nothing to do with S/S, unlike a ? on what a viper runs is track related in a way

 

Much more acceptable explanation, the fact that I didnt ask any ?'s about track times, hp, ect ect. But just the comment "it doesnt have to do with mustangs" just chapped me a bit. Theres only 5 other threads going in the s/s section that have absolutely nothing to do with mustangs.

On most other days Im the farthest from a rude, distasteful smartasss. I totally agree that this might not belong here, buuuuut, at the same time, this is the only section I like to be in, because it has a wide variety of mostly knowledgable folks (me not being at the top of that list ) so, therefore, thats why I thought I could slide it in there, its the only place I post.......

Thats why you should just make up something good for a good thread, like seeing some cobra vs a cam'd Ls1 sonoma and they ran up top 100+ but the cobra/Ls1(whichever one) won out on the top end =D, haha. i do agree s/s is the best, then 4.6 tech, then 4.6 general, then corral.net

 

I actually did mean to type MUSTANGS OR RACING, but I was busy with my two year old and my 3 month old. Sorry if it chapped YOUR ***, but I do have a job to do here. I welcome anything that has to do with any kind of racing in here, regardless of what kind of car it is. People who have been here for any amount of time know this.
