Yeah I didn't think I would hit 12's without NOS. I've got a friend that has a 01 GT with a Procahrger pushing 8 to 10 pounds of boost. He has alot of money in that car cosmetically and he also has 4:10's, Flows and an O/R X-pipe.. We are both going to the track and the guys at work are all ready talking about the race. He told me yesterday to race him withought the NOS I told him to take off the S/C. That shut him up real quick! Do you guys think I will be able to hang with him or will he cream me.

Have you been to the track yet? I figured it would shorten the gap a little. His car is a daily driver my will be strictly as I said earlier a once in a while driver. MO get's bad winters so I will have at least 4 months of not driving it. Plenty of time to dip into the low 12's or maybe even high elevens. Once I install the nitrous I will be buying a lighter fly wheel and some upgraded heads.

I figure with the heads, aluminum fly wheel, a upgraded intake and a set of 4:10 gears I should have at least a 12.8 car. Like I said earlier I will be adding NOS to my mod list (ZEX 100 shot) so I'm hoping for a low 12 maybe even a high 11 stang.
