Haha nothing to do with the engine.....sorry dude.
Go GM... my apologies... what moron uses an engine RPO for accessory packages? wow.

Black Mamba, if the car in question is a C6 then I guess you're right, I wasn't aware. Sorry. However, they did make Corvettes before 2005 and the LT4 engine was an option in 1996.

The LT4 was a beast... and can beat an LS1 stock for stock... they ran VERY hard and were put in limited cars (100 - 1997 Camaro SS cars, 29 - 1997 Firebird Firehawks and 1000 - 1996 Grand Sport Corvettes)

Rated 330 bhp / 340 lb-ft
Here is a stock dyno....

For a H/C upgrade it's a weak sauce choice for the LT1, but as a production engine it was very strong and very close to the LS1.

Yeah it was all just about what year the car is. I also thought the Lt1 and Lt4 were engines before I bought my car.......after seeing that they were packages I thought I was wrong at the time. Ok well I guess the OP has both answers now

Ok then read my second post. C6 engine is LS2 05-07 and LS3 08-09. The LT1-LT4 are interior packages and goodies.
