I was just kidding, I just find it amusing that GM will make an engine called the LT-1, then one called the LT1, then use that same designation for an options package on the Vette. Almost as confusing as the 1,560 different kinds of S197 Mustangs they make now.

QFT....whats the new s197 special edition this month?

The LT-1 was a carbed 350 they made back in 1970. The LT1 is an EFI 350 used from 1992-1997.

so it's the same small block chevy with electronics? i saw where the 70's vette motor was an 11:1 CR
