well I have the Maximum Motorsports grip box for the 1999-01 cobra's, so it's semi braced.

the car only weighs 3200lbs with me in it, it's basically a race car, that's why I was saying a full tank of gas, I also though it might help with traction.

I'm fairly sure that I'm just going to leave from idle, I'm not going to really launch it.
I'm still kind of learning the car with the t-56 in it, it's only been in there for a little over a month and I havn't even really been to the track (road course) since then

actually from looking at it, I might order the billetflow brace.

I would order it also better then tearing your diff in half. And really if your gonna go to the track have fun launch it! Start off from 2500rpm dont go dumping the clutch slightly slip it out. You barely just want that chirp. If you break something you break something from what you have + the billetflow brace your fine man. I mean if you want your times to be consistent get a 3 or 2 step rev limiter. Its all in fun!
