Default V6 vs SRT-4

My friend got SRT4 recently and wants to race me. For the past few weeks he's been telling me how SRT4 is much better than a Sixer (probably right) by all means...faster, better mpg's, better engine, better performance. Now I'm sure he is preatty much stock, and I'm also sure he would smoke me, but I don't know how bad. Anybody has the experience with SRT4s?

yeah, hell kill ya. but in the end, it is still a cheap neon. ive got a couple of friends in town with modded ones...one of them is pushing close to 400fwhp...but it still sounds like a "ricer", rides like hell, vibrates like crazy, and has a cheap plastic interior. but very, very fast.

I would take one in a split second! My friend has a Stage 3 that runs 11's. Even a Bone stock and a moderately modded Sixer it would still go to the SRT. I would argue that this is the best of the SRT's (including Viper... sorry.)

But, I would like to see turbo for turbo (SRTand Sixer)

you're buddy doesn't have an SRT-4, he has a NEON! The car that smiled and said "Hi" like a little girl when it was debuted years ago.

I'll never understand those guys, they will never admit to owning a damn NEON.
