Is rebadging out of the question? People do do that. Hemi C badges on base 300's, M badges on lower level BMW 3 series...

Very true and a good possibility since:
-STI = mid 13 sec car
-WRX= mid 14 sec car
-Full Exhaust 5.0= mid-high 14 car off the juice
Probably would make a lot more sense this way, but who knows. We have all seen some ****ty *** drivers.
they are brutal from a DIG but I used to whoop on them from a 30 roll in my stock Dodge neon SRT-4 lol. The newer ones has quicker spooling turbos but I'd predict the same outcome...
i dont find it to hard to believe. thats a new sti more than likely the guy cant shift.
