But anyways, so a few nights ago I was headed home and ran into a new STi. He kept pacing me, so I yelled to him to give me 3 honks. He obliged my request, and we both hit it... from a 30 roll, I put about 2 cars on him. He caught up to about a half car and held. I shut it down at around 90. I thought I was gonna lose. Weird.

Was that with or without nitrous? What else have you done to your motor?

Are we talking about the other engine in your sig, or are you trying to say that a full exhaust on a stock 84 engine pulled a new STi?

I'll believe almost anything. I have seen people that are horrible stick drivers driving fast cars. Yesterday I saw someone driving a new body style M3, but everytime he shifted the car jumped like it was frightened. He was one horrible shifter and if he raced people, I think he would lose to cars that were a second slower than his and possibly more.

Yeah give us some specs. And I will never doubt the lack of skill some drivers possess. With my old 5.0's I won races where the other car made more than double my hp to the wheels and was >2 seconds faster in the quarter mile, but the driver just sucked that bad. Just don't go around braggin that you can beat the faster car when you really beat the driver.

While we are waiting for the car specs, I always wondered what mpg those 6-speed tiburons get? City/Highway? Good?

I get around 23/29 if I'm really trying(shifting under 3k, and keeping it around 65 on the highway). It's OK, but not great.

Is rebadging out of the question? People do do that. Hemi C badges on base 300's, M badges on lower level BMW 3 series...
But yeah, a terrible driver is more likely.
