At the track and on the street.
Well it was my first time ever running a irs equipped strang at the track, so in that rspect I faired well. On my first run I left my tc on(disabled on my GT, forgot) and got edged out by a slicked TA. 14.0@103 to his 13.98@101. Then I ran my buddy in his Vorteched 91, got him 14.0@103 to his 15.5@101. Then 2 runs back to back with a douche bag in a stripped, slicked and sprayed little civic hatch. The first run I got him 13.89@103 to his 13.91@102 the he got me at the light(.11 to my .25) and we both ran 13.75's, but my trap was 105 to his 100.
After tonight I have a new respect for guys who race regularly with irs equipped Cobras. It's a major p.i.t.a.! Next time I'm taking my 275/40 stickies of my GT before I go though, hopefully I wont snap a half shaft.
After all this fun, on my way home I came across a copper 6.0 GTO. Slammed to the ground and loud as all hell. He actually lasted longer than I expected. He held up til 4th. Damn good looking car though.
Btw, before you guys chime in saying that all these times seem slow...well, they are. I run at Little River Dragway in Academy Texas. I could argue that it is in the top 5 worst tracks in the nation.

You guys must not have read the entire post. I run on a horrible track, everyones times are usually bout .5 to .75 slower than at other tracks and traps suffer even more. I believe it is possible thier timing equipment, but the track surface sucks too.

That's my good friend Sean, and yeah, at another track(Baytown I think) he did mid to low 13's at 107-108. He also runs on 17" rims and street tires.

It's off I35 just south of Temple Texas. It's called Little River Dragway, but is often reffered to as Temple Raceway. It's the only track in driving distance for those of us stationed at Ft. Hood, the other one(bout 1hr drive) is an old air strip.
Btw, i was supposed to make my first runs in my Cobra at Ennis for FFW this wekend, but I have to go to my wife's dad's birthday bbq.
