difference is the vette hasn't had a continuous production run since 1953, they've stopped production iirc a couple times.
the viper, I believe first year was 1993, and then it was only what a 12 second car stock?
the mustang is if I remember correctly the only car to have ever been in continious production for this long

7:42 I believe, right behind the Ford GT.
I wish they would have given the Z06 a do over

never was production stopped, they did skip at least one model year, 1983 when the newer generation came out and the "stingray" was dropped, C3 to C4

Im with you. Your talking high end 2 seat sports cars Vs. pony car. I do love that Vipers & Vettes are showing the rest of the world we mean business.

iirc the viper in 1993 was a low 13 second car (maybe a well driven one could tag a high 12...).. i am trying to dig up old numbers but I keep seeing 13.1~13.3 everywhere...

like i said, cacimar...knowing a course and KNOWING the course and the lines change with weather, temperature....so 2 seconds might be a lot of time, but 4 scs is double that, and i don't think the ZR1 is maxed out yet.

AZ2000.5gt can attest to this fact.
