Default There goes the trans.

Well for all you guys that recommended power shifting, thank you and thank you. Struggled the first couple passes with it but then hit it on the dot and ran a 11.21 at 123.2 mph with a ok 1.56 60 ft. (New best). Next run I was on track to beat that again and get into the 11.1*s with a 1.54 60 ft, 7.14 1/8th at 98.5 mph but when I went to shift into 4th I BLEW THE FU(KING TRANS. I was a whole tenth faster at the 1/8th then the run before which might of even meant high 11.0*s. I was pretty bummed but I knew it was bound to happen sooner or later, didn't expect this soon.

Yes it WAS. It was the 10 spline imput shaft that went. The upgrade to a 26 spline will happen this week along with 4.10s. I figured that I might as well do it now that the car is in for the trans.

your welcome and I'm sorry, but the tranny is fine! The input shaft is a known week spot, sorry I didnt mention it, seems as if it were common knowledge

It sucks to break, but an imput shaft is pretty minor in the grand scheme of things.

No need to be so accusing man, in the end you are the one that made the decision to powershift. **** starts to break when you do that.....ask me how I know lol

I'm not accusing at all. I'm just joking around with the guys that recommended it. I wasn't nearly as bummed as I thought I would be.

Well as I have said many times before, I'm learning as I go. Its not common knowledge to me until it happens first hand or someone on here tells me.
