Not really. Equal drivers, and maybe even a better driver in the C5, will still equal victory for the C6 every time....especially as the speeds rise. The LS2 C6 vs the C5 Z06 will equal victory for the C5 Z06.

Mainly due to the aggressive torque management in the LS2 C6 Vettes

Thanks for the info Mr Rogers. I haven't had much experience around C6s, so I'm still learning about them. I was wondering how bad the Torque Management was on the C6. I figured it was pretty aggressive going by how much GM loves TM. I'm trying to talk him into taking it to the dyno to get it turned off, as well as getting the car itself tuned. All he has done so far is pull the fuse for the exhaust valve. He said Jay Leno said to pull it, so he did, lol.

The C6 is badass, especially on top end. I thought that they had an LS3 as stated above, but his engine covers say LS2. Am I missing something?

NotStok, after running that LS1 Goat, I am honestly concerned about the LS2s. I'm going to have to get some 4.10s, the remainder of my exhaust, and definitely a tune before I'll be pulling any 05-06s. The other Mach I had thats in my sig pulled way harder than the one I've got now. I miss it.

Cant, I'll keep an eye out for ya man. I live right off of Jones Franklin near Cary Crossroads.

Yeah you have to mod a bit more to play with those. NA route for mach is way too expensive due to 4Valve per cylinder. Why i still dont get is why you got an AUTO mach ?

Partly because I'm a lazy bastard, lol! The two main reasons for getting an Auto are one, the price was very hard to turn down with the low mileage and condition of the car. All the 5spds within the mileage range I was looking at were over 18 grand. I got mine for 15 with 24k miles on it. This is from a dealer of course. The other reason is because the auto Machs are usually just as fast as the manuals once tuned. I also like automatics for the track and racing from a dig more than a 5spd. They're easier to get a good 60 out of and run more consistent ETs, IMO. Once i get done with it, it'll hang with that LS2 C6 on the track, I promise. The biggest complaint i have with autos is that they don't do good from rolls, and have a lot of dead spots, in other words they have sweet spots. Its either go from dig, or find the sweet spot and leave from there. Tunes help fix that though.
