Yeah it's a three link. With two lower control arms and one centrally mounted upper.

The 05+ are much stiffer and the only chassis stiffening necessary is the torque box stiffener and you don't need that until the power gets up there, say 650rwhp and above.

OP, yes your car can benefit from suspension work. It doesn't matter how much power you make if you can't hook it up.

How much work needs to be done is dependent on how the car is running. You need to have some one video the car on launch. It's hard to determine what the car is doing exactly while driving it.

We just went from a 9.57 to a 9.21 on my car. The biggest change was a simple tweak of the suspension. We found the problem watching video of the car launching in slow motion.

You may not have wheel hop......but are you hazing the tires? Maybe you're unloading the tires 30' out because of the shocks, there are a lot of different things these cars (S197's) will do. I suggest doing a little research into exactly what the problem your having is instead of just throwing parts at it.

And yes I agree your car should 60' a little better.
