I listed my mods, I have 3.73's and can't go past ~120.

Vette had dual k&n intake kit, straight pipes, and catback

yup not many people complain about it but when your cars mostly a top end car like mine u need all the gear you can get. Ill be switching to 3.55s and a taller tire and hope to be able to get it up to atleast 140 since everyone down here with the fast cars roll race on the mexican highway

Nice kill. Your car gets stronger and stronger as the race continues..

Oh and Mamba, a set of headers wouldn't have changed that outcome.

+1 Rogers, a tune wouldn't kill that Vette either.

Very nice run OP. You flat walked his ***.

I'm curious about your gears though. Are you running out of gear at 120 mph with those 3:73s in 4th gear? I'm guessing you're not going into 5th while boosting?

Stkjock: i deffinetly wanted to try that but according to word of mouth around here and many tire/ratio/rpm calculators a 28" tire will only gain me a few more mph up top. i really need to step down to 3.55's to gain atleast 10 more mph as its also been recommended by many popular shops around here when i called. Do you think there will be a noticable difference in acceleration? i think i have more than enough power to not worry about that but who knows....

mr.rogers: thank you kindly, thats why i really want to get the 3.55's put on ASAP.

stone: thanks, yes i straight up run out of gear. if i reeeaallly push the car to about 6200 rpm i can squeeze about 125 in 4th. It really sucks i hardly ever rev that high though cause my entire motor is completely stock so yup im also not shifting into 5th EVER when racing lol (dont wanna have to trailer it home hehe).

edit: keep in mind i also have a t-45 so even from the factory my tranny gears might be a bit shorter? not really 100% sure...

I don't know if it would be worth the $$ to step down from a 3:73 to a 3:55. You probably won't gain more than 200 rpm at any given speed. Might just want to play it safe and keep shutting it down at 120 mph.
