unless you run him, or the other 10 billion ****ty srt8 drivers...it's not every day you run niot a driver like subtexel
+1...
Seems to me like the few guys I've seen driving them are people going through a mid-life crisis. I swear I saw a white dude with a white button down work shirt with a ballcap on backwards listening to rap music driving one of them. He must have been 40-45...
The only one I've run I smoked him up to about 75 or so from a dig when I let off (cause I could see he was gaining on me, haha)... but I even had too much wheel spin and I had him big off the line cause he just roasted his tires when the light turned green.
I've seen one SRT-8 (300) go 13.1, all the rest were some off these non-driving knuckle draggers you guys speak of running high 13s or slower. In other words, all of the SRT-8s are low 13 CAPABLE, not so much when it comes to the drivers. If I had one, the very first thing I would do to it would be drag radials!
LOL you guys act like you've never seen a mid 14 second S197 at the drag strip.
Seen plenty of them too. I've also seen plenty of 13 and 14 second GT500's, C5 and C6 Corvettes, and even saw a 13 second Viper once. I think we all have a pretty good grasp of what these cars are capable of. And likewise, I think we all know that many (if not the majority) of owners who try to go to the track with these higher priced cars tend to be lacking in the driver mod area. Common sense....but I guess we all need to be reminded of this every once in a while when the fanboys start giggling to themselves about how 400+hp cars at their track don't turn in decent times.
