Few Kills
Okay, so these weren't organized races or anything, just playing around while out cruising.
First up, some young guy in a 3rd gen 'Maro. Pretty clean looking, sounded good. Prolly nothing more than mild bolt-ons I'm guessing. He'd been eyeing me up, and finally ended up next to me on a road going out of town. I'm just mmob, slowly passing him, and I see him look over and kinda grin. I'm expecting what happens next, so I drop to second (we're going about 35) and just hammer it. He did the same, but to no avail. I just completely smashed the guy. Let off at at maybe 80 w/ him over a damn light pole back, lol. He pulls up at the next light, and waves. I'm thinking he might have just wanted to see me open it up. Who knows.
Next, some guy in a New Edge GT Vert is riding ahead of me. Real nice, lowered, Saleen 19's, great sounding exhaust. The car was obviously a 5-sp. Anyways, I'm going a little faster than him, leaving the light, and just as I'm about to shift out of third and into fourth, I hear him downshift and hit it, I go to second instead (we're going 40), and do the same. He got a head start and had a half car on me, but I immediately stopped the pull and passed him up. Let off at 80, w/ a good 3 cars on the guy. He pulled a fly-by, and just kept going. Meh.
Later some guy in a new Lexus IS is in the lane next to me. He needs to get over into mine to turn off. Rather than just getting over behind me, where there was noone btw, he decides to try to pass me and cut me off. I'm totally expecting the guy, and still in first from leaving the light. He goes, I go. He's immediately a car behind. Then two. Three. Four. Five, maybe a little more just as I'm going into third. Not sure if it was a 350 or 250, never saw the badging. Prolly a 250 considering how he got pulled.
Last race was the guy in the New Edge again. From a dig this time. Light goes green, he gets an alright launch, but I get a better one, and just drive away. I just let off at 50 and he was already a few cars back. He pulls up at the next light, and wouldn't even look over, lol. Poor sport. Shame, too, nice car, and I would've liked to have talked the guy.
Hopefully soon I'll be racing my friend's GTO. His is also an '06, but it's an auto. Haven't seen him for a year and a half, so I have no idea what's done to it, but his rides never stay stock for long, so I'll prolly lose. I'll be sure to let you guys know what happens, though.

Nice kills! I have always liked the performance of the GTO's just hated the styling -=( 05 and 06 were definitely an improvement over the 04 though. Friend of mine recently got an 05 Black GTO and they are definitely fun cars.

Thanx guys. I actually like the clean styling, even if it is a little bland and boring. It's stealthy, and it looks kinda classy imo. They're by no means traffic stoppers, though, lol. To each their own.
As for mods, it has Diablo 93 tune and JBA exhaust.
