Orlando Speedworld is about a 20 minute drive for me, unfortunately its considered the worse 1/4 mile track in Florida. The next two closest 1/4 mile tracks are Bradenton and Gainseville which are prob around 1.5-2 hrs away. Moroso is prob about 2 1/2 hrs from me as well.

Milan Dragway is about 45 minutes from my house. It usually takes a couple of hours to get home though. Waiting for the tow truck usually takes awhile.

Need a better trans than this POS T5! Can't beat on it at all.

Norwalk was rated by some consumer poll or other as the best track in the nation if that means anything. They had a couple banners up towards the end of last year stating that. $12 Wed night time runs, then bracket racing starts ~7:30-8. $20 TNT Friday nights, some racing event or other basically every weekend.

I am ~45 minutes away from Norwalk Raceway Park (now Summit Racing Equipment Motorsports Park, a mouthful), ~45 minutes from a crappy little track called Marion County International Raceway, and ~1.25 hours away from Dragway 42.

What days that i'm off determines where I go. Dragway 42 on Tues, Norwalk on Wed, and MCIR on Fri. Sometimes all three if I work in the morning Haven't been to MCIR for a while though, they stopped having a trophy class for street cars halfway through last season.

www.evadaleraceway.com is about 80 miles or so from us. It is the nearest drag strip. I get invites all the time to come out and street race. It's just not my thing. I have way to much invested in it to get it taken away for 10 minutes of fame and fortune. Not to mention all the useless cop attention I would have afterwords. Most of the times that I get invited out to run on the street, I know it's against cars that I would just kill. But like I said, it is just to much sugar for a dime. I'm not giving away my hard earned money. You wanna race me, show up at the drag strip.

I'm sorry, but I LOL'd.

If you look around, you can find built T5's, a rebuilt kit for a tougher T5, or maybe a TKOxxx laying around somewhere.
