ooooooooooooo bench racing my favorite!!!!!!!

mmmmmmm high 12s. Sounds like about 400 hp in a lightened 66. There are so many variables in a modified ride like this. Cam duration, head size, tire size/type, suspension mods/setup, weight distribution. There is only one way to see.....run it down the track.

I don't see how you are getting that. Now as the car sits right now in his driveway, I'm sure it weights 2200lbs or alot less.

You didn't click on the link did ya? Heres what it says. Curb-weight range, pounds: 2,445-2,800 (1965); 2,488-2,800 (1966)You'll also note in my first post it says "if the web sight is correct?"
. I'm going by the numbers in the link, I don't know **** about first gen mustangs(And dont have any real interest in them til about the 1968 model) but I dont see why you couldn't strip 250 pounds out of one if the link is correct?

If the OP is taking about crank horsepower it's a lowish 13 second car if he's talking Wheel hp it could be a high 11 second car. The way it sits right now in those photos......Who cares it doesn't look like it's gonna be running any time soon.

I don't understand why your wondering what it would run? You should know. If I had all that glass and a manual valve body I would think it was built for the track
