Default New Best

Went to the track for the first time since Jan 1st, and the first time with my new setup.

Results:
11.933 @ 117.468
1.851 60ft

Pretty happy with those numbers, if I can drop my 60ft into the low 1.7's or high 1.6's that should put me in the 11.7's or lower. Did manage to kill a vette along the way, which always brings a smile to my face.

Here are the full results.

Only got in 5 runs but here is the break down.

What's new about this setup? Man, your 60' were all over the place. Were you trying out different things? How was the weather, you think you may be able to trap anymore? I think you can do 11.5 with a good 60 and another mph.

New setup: 3.4 pulley, new tune (which still needs a little work car is rich), larger heat exchanger. Weather was in the mid 50's, tire are MT ET Streets 275/45/17's at 16-15 psi. Car is a stick and my differential is offically dead, only one tire spins on burn out. Launched anywhere between 2000 and 3500 rpm tires still spun pretty bad off the line which is why my 60' is all over the place, only suspension mods are BMR billet aluminum LCA's.

I am hopping from 11.5-11.6's

Congrats. Looks like the car still has plenty left. The diff. is going to hold you back. Probably time for more suspension mods.

Car's going in tomorrow for the diff. Depending on the tax return I might be shopping for some suspension mods. Any suggestions?

For your car I'd probably do LCAs first. Maybe some adjustable shocks to assist in weight transfer. Maybe some subframe connectors. Those will make your street ride a little more ruff though.

Got the LCAs already. I was thinking adjustable uca, slit change to pinoin angle and I good set of adjustable shocks.

I've been running my ET Streets at 14 psi lately. I also dump the clutch at around 3500-4000 rpm and rarely spin, I think I should be coming out even harder. When I first got the blower, I was coming out really easy, around 2-2.5k rpm, but would spin like crazy once I rolled into the throttle. I think the ET Streets work better when you shock them with a higher rpm clutch drop rather than an easy one and then getting into throttle.
