Street/Strip Raced a guy from a light? Had that ride of yours on the timed track? Tell your story here.

What does this mean when another driver does this?

Maybe everyone misread my question, but in order to lose a race wouldn't I have had to be racing?

When this happened, I was just driving along minding my business. Not racing, not even driving fast. Then a ricer zips by me changes lanes so he's in front of me and turns on his flashers.

So, does anyone know what this means? I'm assuming it means he wants to race, but like I said originally we were in traffic, so how in the world would I race him?

It means he thought you were racing him and that he thinks that he won... so basically he's retarded.

I'm sitting in my car now giving you the hazards. How does it feel to lose again?

honestly, it means the guy was being an as* and was messing with you more than likely, trying to get u pissed off. I had a guy with 4 people in the car (just me in mine) pull up next to me doing 45, then hits it as I do nothing... they litterally went up to around 90-100 I assume (they were on it for a while)... that crap is irritating but what can you do

It means you better start looking for a video of you on streetfire! The video the ricer and his little buddy in the passenger seat took of you when they did the fly-by. In the video you lost the race badly.

Maybe they were doing that to another guy they were racing. Are you sure there weren't 2 cars?

This weekend some little Civic did the same thing, but he kept his fourways on for a good 1/2 mile while driving in front of me.

The only thing I can figure is they want to do a "rolling race", but for both situations there was traffic in front of them, so how far could we actually have raced?

Also, this whole rolling race thing confuses me. I've watched tons of videos on streetfire and to me is just seems boring to stomp on the gas in 2nd gear while already moving. Am I missing something, or am I the only one that appreciates a good drivers race from a dig, and loves to rip through gears hearing a chirp in 2nd and 3rd.

Man, I sure hope I'm not getting "too old". I'm only 33, but it seems that no one wants to race off a traffic light anymore.

Please guys, fill me in.
Apparently throttle control has gone out the window. Everyone thinks they're friggin John Force nowadays, so they have to nail it from a stop instead of feathering the throttle while slipping the clutch. No one cares to actually KNOW how to drive anymore

Everyone is just messing with you... they know you weren't racing these kids.

You flash your hazards to show that you won the race. That's of course if you're a white trash idiot driving a lowered Honda with atleast two body panels that don't match, a fart can and a big cloud of smoke coming out the back because you've had a blown head gasket for the past two years but are to broke to fix it.

It was originally from street racing so that the crowd could know who won the race. Now it is just used by idiots.
