What does this mean when another driver does this?
Ok this has happened to me twice in the last week and I'm confused. I'll be driving my car and a little ricer will do a fly by, he'll then cut infront of me and put on his four ways. Does this mean something? The first time I ignored it because I just assumed something happened to him and they only stayed on for a few seconds. This weekend some little Civic did the same thing, but he kept his fourways on for a good 1/2 mile while driving in front of me.
The only thing I can figure is they want to do a "rolling race", but for both situations there was traffic in front of them, so how far could we actually have raced?
Also, this whole rolling race thing confuses me. I've watched tons of videos on streetfire and to me is just seems boring to stomp on the gas in 2nd gear while already moving. Am I missing something, or am I the only one that appreciates a good drivers race from a dig, and loves to rip through gears hearing a chirp in 2nd and 3rd.
Man, I sure hope I'm not getting "too old". I'm only 33, but it seems that no one wants to race off a traffic light anymore.
Please guys, fill me in.

oooooooo it proves who's cars faster...who gives a **** if the person can't drive. Plus most seem to forget that roll races don't really pit car against car equally like they really think. Some people are stronger out of the hole because of suspension setups, tires, gears etc. Roll races will eliminate a lot of that and give an advantage to the person with the faster motor, but weaker suspension setup, whereas if it were a dig race the person with the better suspension may hang better with the faster car.
Like BB said before "roll racing is two retards speeding together"! My favorite line on this forum of all time by far!!
I've been preaching about roll racing being gay forever, but for some reason get beat with the flame sticks everytime I bring it up. I agree with you though, it requires zero skill, and doesn't mean crap!

i know this has nothing to do with the thread, i just wanted to say the pic in your sig is sexy as hell. I really liek the stance of your car, what kinda suspension setup do you have?
If your car actually moved better from a roll than it did from a dig you would probably change your tune. I enjoy both dig and roll runs.. I just don't have to get butt hurt when it's roll time because my car does ok on both accounts. The only people I hear complaining about roll races have low ETs (which is great for drag racing) but no mph (so they can't win any roll runs).. . it's ok..we get it.
+100
It's kind of where I was going with the FI car's out-trapping similarly powered N/A cars.
But if your running 12.1's at 109mph, you'll probably not want to race someone in a roll if they are trapping 115+, even if they are running slower ET's
