So I was out this afternoon checking new suspension. I had put on LCA's a was seeing if they had eliminated the wheel hop. So I punch it at a stop sign, get a good traction and do a flyby on a minivan. He decides to pursue me. I thought some young guy in his moms van having fun. He was right on my *** after i had slowed down. By now I knew it was some concerned citizen. We come up to a light and he comes up beside me, I look over and he was an old guy with this "what the F are you doing!" look. He rolled his window down to say something but he pulled up too far (I was behind a few cars). The light turns green and he was waiting for me to pull up, but i held back. He finally goes since we have traffic behind us, and i turned right. I stick my hand out the window, wave bye-bye, and go on home. I wonder if it was an off duty cop trying to bitch me out...

 

Take the test sessions to roads that have no other traffic. Test and tune mixed up with regular traffic doesn't always have a good ending.

 

Could have been. I try not to test stuff out with people around. I don't like to look like a d1ck head. Sometimes it's a pain in the *** to find a totally secluded spot though. I remember one time I was having problems with my Tach, so I was trying to see where it was messing up at and did a 2nd gear pull on this street with nobody in either one of the lanes going my direction. Well I had my eyes on the tach using my periphial vision to see what was ahead of me. Well I wasn't paying attention to the cop I Passed who was comming at me. I guess he busted a u turn and came up behind me. I had stopped before he had cought up to me though. He pulled me over. All in all he told me he didn't have a chance to gun me and let me off with a warning. Just thought I'd share, LOL.
