whats up with the M6 tags?

 

Its always nice to get an ego booster kill every now and then. 03svt, what do Termi's with similar mods usually trap in 1/4?

M6 is a manual 6 speed.
M5 manual 5 speed
A4 auto 4 speed....you get the picture.

 

If your not getting many races then it's fun just to run anything considered a sports car. Nice win but expected.

 

i know that, but at least itd be closer than an S197 with a cold-air kit and axle-back exhaust. haha

ohh. see, now that makes more sense. lol. it must really suck having a 12-sec(possibly 11's) car..... i dont even know if i could make it into the 13's. damn 4-valves with blowers. haha

 

have you ever run your car at a track? if so, how fast were you?

 

I've seen most TS/Centri blowers on S197 GT's making no more than 470 RWHP on 11-12 PSI. However, they will make a considerably less amount of TQ.

Also, the powerbands of Blown S197GT's and Cobra are totally different. Even on a TS blower for the S197 GT, it doesn' get all of it's TQ to carry it's HP until over 3,000 RPM All Cobra's with Eaton's or TS Blowers get all of their TQ @ 2,000 RPM, and it stays flat all the way to redline.

It would be a good race, but Pullied Cobra's are able to trap 122-124. I don't think I've ever seen a Blown S197 GT on the norm, trapping that high. Not to mention pullied Cobra's have broken 10's several times.

There are definitely a lot of variables. But, all in all, it won't ever really be a race, unless the S197GT has a fully built motor, running high boost on a highly efficient blower. Even then, a KB Cobra would more than likely make short work of it, running on a good amount of Boost. Also depends on supporting mods, and the biggest mod of them all, Driver mod.
