my first kill :)
I have had the car for about 8 months now. Have yet to really race it on the street against somebody. I mean I have played around with friends, but we all know that doesn't count.
Anyways, I work uptown. I had just got off work at ~3 Am and I am driving my drunk buddy and I back to where our places are (I wasn't drinking and driving!). Oh, on a side note, my drunk buddy says that my car makes him sick because it shakes so much from the cams at idle haha.
Back to the story. So he wants to take the highway so that we don't stop and go. So I head towards the highway. (Its 3 stop lights, and then a right turn on-to 77)
First stop light pull up and beside me is a white 1995-2000 Lexus LS 400. Im not thinking anything of it at all, until the light turned green and he jumps ahead pretty quick. (I hate when people do that to me, I have to correct them)
Second stop light, he knows whats about to happen. Light turns green, and we both punch it. I dont even take of my TC and I pull about 2 cars on him. Lay off the gas after that and cruze to the next stoplight and wait.
Guy pulls up and I can see his buddy just smiling in the car. so I look over and see them and say "whats up fellas?" Guy turns to me and says "nothin. where the ladies at?"
Long story short, light turns green, and we both start moving towards the highway. (I let him in front of me by shifting at 2k rpms)
So now that I am behind him he knows that he's gonna have to get on it. So we make the right turn onto the on-ramp and we both hit it (my TC still on)
Half way down the ramp I am off the throttle waiting for some lane to show up just so I can pass him. Finally merge onto the highway and I go far left (3 lanes) and punch it.
Pull around him in third, and start to pull hard through 4th. Get a lil into 4th ( 110 mph ) and pull for about 10 seconds before I tap the breaks to hit the speed limit again.
Eat it.
Nothing special, just a fun story.
From wiki (about the LS 400):
