So I was coming home from practice and I decided to take the back roads home. In my rear view mirror I see this E46 M3 weaving in and out of traffic. He passes me and throws a lil rev. I get right behind and follow suit. At first it was a little bit of cat and mouse. We Get to a light and I'm still behindhim. A spot clears up and I pull up side by side. I downshift to 2nd and get a chirp from my tires. He looked over and smirked, he downshifts to second and is bliping the throttle. 3 honks later at 40mph and we're off! I pulled steadily on him till the middle of 4th. I ended with a couple car length lead. He caught up and we went at it from 40mph again, I was pulling again but I missed 3rd...ugh noob move lol. Anyways, the next light was red so I asked what he had, just exhaust. As much as i like M3's the sound like **** lol. Oh well it was a nice run.

The E46 coupe record bone stock is 12.8 at 106 (or right around there....I read it last night). The verts are a little slower, but not that much slower. 333 hp.

Well apparently there are good drivers and bad drivers, anything can happen on the streets. It's actually a fair match up when you think about it.
