Today I raced a 02 bmw 325i 5 spd, and i have a 1994 mustang gt 5 spd with catback exhaust. I had him till about 55 or so then he would beat me by maybe a car length. However, i had my friend in the car who weighs 260 pounds. Do you think i would have beat him if he wasnt in the car?

i was thinkin more along the lines of AT LEAST maybe..........im leaning towards yes possibly..........weight reduction-7lbs=1hp......260/7........calculates out to like "36hp"........idk.........

I was shifting way late too at like 5800 rpm, later that night i was shifting it at 5100 rpm and it seemed like it was always in the powerband that way. I think if i would have shifted it at 5100 and didnt have my friend in the car, i think i would have beat him easy cause 325i only run a 15.4
