Default Drag radials

I can get some BFG drag radials for free....the only thing is there off a civic so there 225 50 15. Would that hook better than a stock sized 17 inch tire? Is it even worht the effort?

Don't even try it. I'm not a tire expert, but IF you could get them to fit it wouldn't be safe. Stretching a tire is dangerous, and no they probably wouldn't hook very well at all . You'd probably hook worse because your sidewall would be so thin. Now, if you put them on a set of 15 inch rims, that might be another story.

I think he means they are already on the rim itself ( tire/rim combo), unless he does want to stretch the tire(on 17s) lol.. damn.. nuff said.

tires are not car specific, its the rim that needs to bolt up correctly, do you have a 15" rim to fit the car and tire? if so, yes IMHO they will hook better then a street tire.

15 inch tires are 15 inch tires! Get you some cheap wheels and go racing. You'll get a ton more traction with those DRs than you would with your street tires. I make more HP at the wheels than you make at the crank and I only run on an 8 inch slick. You'll be fine on those BFGs.

Ah, I thought he just meant the tires since he just said the radials. I don't know, it was 2 in the morning and I was tired when I posted, lol.
