I guess it was around a 2002 i ran it but my car was running ****ty we was maybe at a 30-40 mph roll and i swear he was ripping the pavement off the ground and left me.. i asked him and his friends what he had in it and they continued to claim a stock 350..B/S!!!

 

Even if you're relativley stock, a stock LS1 wouldn't crush you like the way you're describing. I owned a 98 Z28 with just a K&N filter and flows, and i don't think it wasn't any faster then my stang with just gears and full bolt ons.

 

well thats what they said and i told them bull****..but im think maybe it was on some spray or some heads and cams and other bolt ons

 

btw i have full bolt ons and drag suspension and im on m/t d/r's

 

How fast did you get up to? How many lenghts did he have on you by the end?

 

well like i said my car was running like **** and we maybe got up to about 60 if even that and by that time he already jumped about 2 cars and was still pulling away i let off and he kept going

 

Yeah, unless your car is running really bad, it sounds like he may have had more than just typical bolt ons to be pulling you like that. Who knows!

But I bet he had a Lid/cutout, with supporting mods.

 

yea i was having issues with it going wot and misfiring...im pretty sure he had more...i also raced a ls1 vette that same night and i atleast jumped on him and stayed there for a while then he slowly came by me

 

LS1's are 346's, I would think 0-60 with your modifications you'd hold on to a stock one up to 60 mph without too much problem...

but if you're car was running like crap *whatever that means* then it's impossible to say what happened.
