For the rest of the passes i went into fourth and was in it for a bit before i hit the traps.

im already addicted lol. im definitely going to be getting alot more practice. the only thing is that i have to get a helmet because i almost got kicked off for not having one after the second run. have to have a helmet for faster than a 14... luckily a friend had one though.

Damn, my track requires a helmet just to run. Anything quicker than 14.0 and you can no longer use the rental.

trap speed and horse power number's dont add up to me.... but i never like'd the dynos anyway.

I thought most s197's needed to shift AT 6500..... not be hitting there limiter at that point?

Buy some sticky tire's, get the limiter/shift point figured out, and more seat time. It should have more in it.

what should be my trap speed with my horsepower. the weather was bad at the track too.

my rev limiter is at 6500 from the tuner and its 6250 stock. i think most tuners put it at 6500.

It takes some practice, and you did extremely well for your first track visit, but 105-6 traps are doable with your car. That bad weather you mentioned could easily set you back a couple MPH.

i think you can hit 106mph easy, maybe even 107.

I just seem to remember the S197 i saw get on the dyno had the best shifting potental at 6500rpm. might just be something to look into.
