I think the Z28 will make for some good competition between Chevy and Ford. The GT500 and Z28 will be similar setups...relatively heavy blown V8 cars with similar power levels.

Its amazing new camaro owners still try to polish the new camaros stock ****ty performance.


Take off those wheel and tires and put the stock ones and Im sure he wont go not even 12.7-12.6.


Why cant new camaro owners try to accept that a 10k 98-02 LS1 performs better than a 40k 2010 SS?

To me this thread is like "Check it out, S197 GTs aren't mid 13 second cars, this one with full bolt ons, gears, and DRs runs 12s." It makes no sense.

after reading that thread on ls1tech and him ignoring the question if he still had stock gears im inclined to believe he does have new gears... he seems the sort to mention as few mods as he thinks he can get away with.

The really shocking thing was his claim he was down to 3700lbs.. he shaved off like 300lbs.

yep.. I think he had the n20 on that run at 11.8 but wasn't using it. that we know of (actually, i believe him on that part)
