This isn't much but a quick kill on a smug punk. I was at a red light making a right hand turn, and this CTS gets on my ***, and then swings around almost hitting my rear bumper. I get pissed off and catch up to him at the next light. I notice that its fairly new and a sixxer. I don't know the stats and numbers off the top of my head but I figure he could get a good jump. Our light is red and I see him him creeping forward little by little. I look over and see some punk *** "ghetto" kid next to me. I'm probably younger than him hahahaha, anyways, I see the other light turn yellow and I rev to 2500rpms; Light turns green and I hole shot him! Now My goal was to get ahead of him so I could get on the on ramp. I spin half way through first and a little into second and pull a car length on him, we get onto the the on ramp for the freeway and he's hugging my *** closer than white on rice, at this point I'm in third at about 3k, not exactly a a sweet spot. It straightens out and we go WOT. He tries to pass me on the right; fail! I eventually get into my sweet spot and say " See yaaaa!" I shut it down at the end of 4th since it's pointless to go any faster than I already was. He does a ricer fly by and nearly hits someone else. That angered me and made me feel dumb for even challenging him on the streets, oh well I enjoyed the rush and was thankful no one got hurt.

I had a co-worker telling me his stock auto CTS will beat my stock 08 GT. I didn't think it was possible either.

 

Good kill! I've personally raced both the STS-V and the CTS-V. The STS-V and i were fairly even with me running n/a, and the CTS-V and i were basically even too... with me spraying lol.

What are the stats on a regular CTS?

 

So I google'd some stats, 3.6 v6 263bhp @6200and 252tq @3100, these are on a 2008 which is my estimate on the year that I raced. There is also a 3.6 v6 that has 304bhp and 274tq as well. I dunno which one I raced now haha. Btw it was a sedan.

Thanks for the compliment, but without the juice it's just an ordinary 2 valve lol. I'm sure you and i would be a good run.

My buddy used to have a 01 Bullitt with gears and full boltons, and we would basically trade races. IMO his car was definantly nicer overall though.
