To End The B.S.

I don't really care about the restrictions, I just don't want an all out race car showing up. I'll run on DR's or a slick but I do think it needs be a plated and insured car. Make it a track rental that is open to anyone we want, but the grudge racing should be kept to us.
As for when, I was thinking in the fall like late sept-early oct. That way we have better air, and the track is more likley to hook better. Over a weekend should give everybody plenty of time, I can go as far as 8-10 hours from home no problem

Yeah, a lot of times when you rent a track then they really dont care about the rules. Like the one that Joe and V rented in Ga. You could race with people in the car with you for all they care. LOL
So when is this going to be? Is it going to be "run what you brung"? Thats the only way to see who is the fastest. Cant really restrict those to others limits, or there is no real telling who's fastest. I plan on having the solid axle in pretty soon and hopefully I can get my hands on a ECTED carrier. The Methanol will go in and tuned soon also.
My only problem is I just have to get into my new job and see what kind of days I can get off.

Well my car will still be plated and insured. But I plan on running at least ET streets if not slicks. I also plan on dynoing over 700 to the wheels before that also.
Im hoping I will have it all done by Oct. Not sure.

...I could mount a plate right below the chutes.
Let me revise that. You have to bring YOUR OWN car!
The only rule that I see is that the car must be plated and insured, otherwise anything goes.

LOL Umm.. no! Bring one of the Saleens though.

I think we should do it like the Pump gas drags, then maybe I could make it. I have a buddy with a true street car that has a double trailor and all, he'd most definately be willing to take me with him down there if the money and rules are right. Make a track run, everyone has their gas drained and 93 ocatane is put in, cruise for 30 miles or so, come back to the track and park the cars in the staging lanes, no one is allowed under the hood of their car, after a cool down period, you race. Only thing you can do is have more gas put in your car.
EDIT: of course, insurance/registration required.

Thats cool with me.. but your buddy isnt allowed to race. This is between all of us here.
Also... I will be running a Methanol shot which is street legal and at the same time boost my octane levels. So 93 octane it is.
