....... Wow.... I logged on here and my computer started the duelling banjo's tune and a roar of "Git R Done" came through my speakers. I feel so much more intelligent for reading this & I have to ask? How many of you are actually named "Cleetus" or "Billy-Bob" & how many of you buck toothed, red-necked, shotgun toting, wife beating, brother/sister marrying, inbred, goat raping, swamp swimming, white pointy hat wearing mother ****ers (and I mean that in the literal sense) have actually driven an Audi. I submit that some Mustangs drive nice & look ok....... Audi's, BMW's and Porsche will give all you guys an *** raping on the twisties...... Oh I forgot you guys don't drive around corners cos it requires a change of gears as well as turning the steering wheel at the same time.... Fu.ck me, don't want you to think too hard, so lets just drive our cars really really fast in a straight line. WOOOOHHOOOO Let's go hunt us some ground squirrel & rape our dog before beating on some negro's....

(I used to own a Mustang.... then I met someone else who owned one..... Unfortunately I couldn't compete with the class of people who drive them).
PS... I just stared at a DOG TURD that grew into a mustang. How interesting.

Do you want there to be? It all started cos JD came and mentioned what he did, given that if you did the same thing.... which has happened before. (Not you personally) you'd get the same reception. Then again... who cares, we both have cars that drive right?

people get bent out of shape about the dumbest things. He knew it was gonna happen, everytime someone does a thread like that people take things to heart. Im sure he knew what he was going to cause. So why bother posting it in like 3 different places in the forum? WOW its an Audi, who cares its a car, I have respect for all cars that are built to run fast, as long as they aren't all riced out. Sorry but people need to stop acting like 12 year olds, this is for you guys and the guys here. Take that to heart if you want but no need in starting more mess that already happens on other forums, it gets kinda boring to see it happen over and over.

Yeah, you're right. It does happen a lot and it does get boring. Some of the stuff coming from our guys & your guys was pretty funny though & I think thats when everyone likes to jump in cos they all get caught up in the moment. I figured if I just said everything then it would stop, which it has. . . . . I must admit, I don't laugh at too many things, but some of it was pretty amusing though. Feel free to come to our forum anytime. I'm sure you'll get some stupid responses (like anywhere) but most of the guys are pretty cool.

Wonderful, the bickering looks to have stopped. Read all 7 pages and must say...some people were acting like children, and it got old pretty fast. We need to attack the person's argument, not the person.
I have a 5.0 mustang and love the car, and I readily admit that it is a horrible car for turning; my friend has a 91 audi 90 quattro 20valve and it turns and brakes so much better than mine. We both admire one another's cars and agree that on a course with straits and corners in a relatively equal amount, our cars would be equal as they are now (chances are that with my friends car running on 4 our of 5 cyl, I would win, but that's another matter (he would probably win with all 5)). The points is, our cars are made differently from different hemispheres, and therefore have different qualaties for racing. The audi has surperb braking and handling, while my car has better acceleration and top speed. What I give up for not having a german engineered car I make up in the cost of the parts and labor required. Likewise my friends car is built more solid, but when something is broken (it has 220k miles, so a few things are) it costs many times more to fix, and often you can't do it yourself, because you need a specialty tool (we are both 18 and don't have a massive supply of tools). However, we both are great friends and respect each other's car.
The points of all this is, respect another person's car and realize that each car has something that it is built for. With the American cars, you get less quality, but overall cheaper prices and vice versa with the german cars (my dad and brother also have german cars, so I know how expensive they can be).
Honestly guys, when in an argument thread like this, take some time to cool off and plan your next move, otherwise you just come out looking stupid and overzealous.
