I pulled up at a light next to a Cobalt SS and he reved it and I did also. Light turned green i spun forever (had my old tires bald as ****) so he got the early break. I caught him and then he started to pull away about a car legnth. Oh well its a nice car. I feel sorry if he had no supercharger...

the colbalt supercharged are pretty quick they turn 14.4 stock, so they move for a 4-cyclinder

no... 97 GTs do not run with 99-04s. But I don't think a Cobalt really does run 14.4s either... There's just not enough power for a FWD 2600-2800 lb coupe to run mid 14s.

 

so if you minus the spinning the gt did shouldnt the weight/power diff make them about equal. and any 99-04 should kill the cobalt

im not mad at all that i lost ive had my gt for a month now and im not used to it. it was my first redlight race... I did get new tires now so that helps but i dont feel bad i lost to the cobalt, it was a fast car.

 

Stop refering to a cobalt as a fast car. Keep practicing on your hole shots and you will get better.
