1/4 mile times come today
Myself and quite a few buddies are heading to the strip today. For my first time out this summer I'm hoping for a 12.4@113, I'd be happy with that as a starting point. Other cars going out include a '01 bolt on 4.6, that gutted wrx, bolt on evo VIII, stock c5, 460whp lightning, and hopefully the bolt on ws6 I raced a couple days ago. So while we're out having fun feel free to post up what everyone thinks the times will be, I'll update when I return.

I did a variety of launches, from idle to 5k. my best 60' was a 1.80. I need to master the launch because i'm sure my car has 1.6's in it. the tires would hook but then it would either spin halfway thru first or bog. my best e/t was a 12.20 and the best mph was the 115.5. I'm proud for the first time out. I made a run with my street tires with an amazing 2.4 60' and e/t of 13.5 at 113. it was pretty epic.
the gutted/vf39'd wrx ran a best of 12.5@113
evo ran a best of 13.4@104
bolt on 4.6 ran a best of 13.2@106
lightning was having issues and could only do 12.9's at 109, but he ran 12.6 last year.
weather was perfect and nobody broke, so it was a good day.

12.2 @ 115 is pretty dang good IMO. IIRC aren't you running Nitto dr's? If so, that's not too shabby. The bolt on 01 gt is impressive as well...106 trap speed is really good for just bolt ons. No weight reduction or anything else on his ride?
Yeah, Lapeer is kind of runned down and what not, but you know what...it does just fine for mildly fast cars like ours. The prep is good enough, and they seem to really bus them through, so the wait in between runs is minimal. Milan is a better track for sure, but good luck at getting your money's worth for a t-n-t session. I've been lucky to get 4 passes in a 4-5 hour period.

he's got a rear seat delete and a gutted trunk, so not much weight reduction.
I've moved onto some 26x11.5x17 et streets now, and I loaned out my worn out nitto's to the buddy with the bolt on stang.
