thats awesome if true maybe it was a perfect day ... i know i would tear a stock ls1 apart and i only trapped 111... like i said most bolt-on ls1s at my track trap 106-108 area maybe above car is a ls6 car?

My friend picked up a 96 cobra couple weeks ago and wanted to see what it could pull at the track.
r/t- .7220
60'- 2.07
1/8- 8.52@ 86.6
1/4- 13.10@ 108.4
mods- cai, t/b, l/ts, exhaust,3.73s not sure if its tuned or not?
has alot of potential still on the table..
On the way home from the track we encounterd a vortech 2v i let him take the hit (thought it was a bolt on car at the time) 70-110 I had about a 2 car lead....2v ran the cobra it was close threw 3rd then they had to let out.
2v mods- all i know is plentium t/b manifold and vortech

Tspence, my 98 Z28 wouldn't trap higher than 109 with full bolt ons, suspension, and a stall (street tires). I have seen many others trap much higher with my mods, so it had to of been something specific to my situation.

That is terrible. You put 2 cars on a Vortech 2v from 70-110mph... He has to trap like 103mph or something... Are you positive he was supercharged? Seriously, 2 cars? That is an absolute beat down for only 70-110mph. That would be like 5 cars from 40-120... Is he running like 3lb of boost? WTF... Like, I don't even know what to say. Maybe he started the race in 4th? Did you real him in hard early and then he stay with you at all toward the end?

How many have you seen run? That's like say most bolt on 3v's run 103mph.
