Just got back from the track.. the only thing different I did this time was allow 20 minutes cool down time between runs, opened up the cut outs, shut off the O/D and it was a success! I got into the high 12s, with A LOT more room for improvement.

Traps were still kinda low, but I attribute that to the 4.10s getting into 4th so quickly and wasting away the tires off the line.

best of day was 12.7@107mph

12.8@106mph
12.8@108mph
12.9@107mph

Consistent 2.0 60 fts. all around, the cut outs allowed me to power brake to damn near 2800 rpms. a good improvement over the 2500ish I am used to with the cut outs closed.

Overall, a great day!

nice man better times.... heat soak with a non cooled centrif is a nightmare.... the best i could run with my car when it was non cooled was 12.9 @111 with my stock rear tires on.... last month i ran it again and could only run a best of 13.2 @ 108 with DR's :/ i was pullin timing like crazy.... even with a cool down period and a spray bottle filled with water to speed that up i still pulled major timing by the time i hit 3rd gear.... time for DR's and some kinda cooler kit... your non cooled kit is capable to get your car into the lower 12's and trap atleast 113.... you just need the temp and DA lol

thanks dude.

The heat soak is no joke! It'll leave me high and dry running 13.8s if I run her back to back rofl.. made that mistake the first time. The 4.10s zip right through the gears leaving little regard for the tires, let alone traction. Once I hit final gear or 4th (OD off) I can feel it bleed off ALL of my boost. It doesn't seem to like to hold any boost in the upper end of 4th, though I have no problem tapping 120mph before having to brake.. I could swear I have been trapping higher today.. a tad, but not too much. You manual guys have some great trap speeds.. still have yet to see 110+.

Definitely gonna get an intercooler if I decide to keep this kit! Great numbers BTW.. she must be a real beast!

yea in your 4th gear, your iat temps are prob extremly high and your pullin timing to prevent det... it was the same for me at the top of 3rd i could feel power lose and 4th gear to the towers was a joke.... my 12.9 @ 111 2.1 60' was done in november, at night with a awsome DA of -1800' with temps of around 40 degrees.... man, i wish i had DR's that night cause i might have been able to get into the low 12's.... if you cool down your kit now, you wont be disapointed... thanx haha yea, the car is a monster now... your lucky, you have 4:10's im still on my stock 3:55's
