Sound like you sir did quite well and had a nice run. But an SS or not that guy was an idiot imo. You don't race any type of an SUV on the street. Thats how people get injuried. And its never the racers themselves that get hurt. Im all for a good race every now & then but c'mon. Some people just don't know their limits. Especially with a a Vehicle that isn't meant for a street run-at-it.

And that's just because your such a sh!tty driver. Imagine if the range rover actually hit something. It would be an epic slaughter.

Wow! I didnt know those SS's pack a punch like that. Does Ford have anything (SUV) that can run with the SS?

Ford doesn't but Chrysler has the SRT8 JGC, that thing is a monster. It will be even better next year with the 6.4L

Ford does however have the svt raptor, which I would give my left arm for.

Why not? You think it matters what you get T-boned by at 80-100 mph?

The SS Blazer is has 4.10s, an LS2, big brakes, and a decent suspension.... how is it not designed for a street run?

Actually it does to an extent. It's gonna be alot worst getting smashed at 80mph by a SUV compared to getting smashed at 80mph by a SMART CAR. And you think that it matters that a SUV has 4.10s, an LS2, big brakes, and a decent suspension? okay bud yeah that is sure gonna save your life. You still can injury just as many people. Just bcuz it has modifications doesn't entitle people to drive like brad keselowski. Thinking people should watchout for you while you speed around looking to race sport cars. Then boo-who when something happens.

Just to clear everything up, i did mean that on the street or with an inexperienced driver, it's unsafe. Now, if we're saying your drag racing an SSTB, then its a different story because 1 your in a closed environment, 2 your driving in a straight line. Just keep it on the track.

jesus christ... really?

since when did going 120MPH in a mustang become completely safe and totally acceptable... but god forbid someone has an SUV and does it, f*cking babies within a 50 foot radius bleed out from the eyes as soon as it goes WOT

SH*T GUYS LOOK OUT!

I would also like to mention that a Trailblazer SS weighs about the same as an SRT8 challenger carrying a passenger.... you are talking like the SUV weighs 45,000 lbs and is powered by 3 Pratt and Whitney jet turbines and has 3 inch diamond hardened spikes sticking out of the grille with a shark tank in the back.... and the sharks have freaking lazer beams attached to their heads

Hmmmmmm, running on the street for 34 years starting with the old polyglas tires, terrible suspensions, and horrid brakes and now the infrequent run in a three ton beast with no injuries.......I guess maybe I'm just lucky......or perhaps there are people out there who pick the time and place on the street a little better than others.
