Well i was suppose to run the bolt-on s197 i posted about in the bench race section but he broke his hand... So it will be awhile before we run... I did happpen to run into a bolt-on auto 6.0 gto in mexico.. He went 13.0 @ 109 last time at the track on street tires..

probably could help

against a stock mach 1 a stock 6.0L GTO will pull steady ALL THE TIME... regardless of a roll or stop

as the mods increase so does the advantage to the GTO

 

What's done to the Mach?

 

he claims just simple exhaust work (midpipe/catback)

but with this guys record in threads and claims now that he's ALLEGEDLY beaten a GTO that has ALLEGEDLY gone 13.0 @ 109MPH I can only fathom what he claims his stock mach1 will ALLEGEDLY run at the drag strip

 

Shouldn't a mach 1 and a gto be a pretty close race though?

 

a 6.0L GTO and a 03/04 Mach 1 is a pretty close race but the GTO will creep away every time

I've tried and tested it back before I even had a tune on my GTO against a stock Mach 1... from multiple stops, multiple rolls from different speed... and every result was the same

plus I think I speak for everyone when I say that a CAR (nevermind the fact it's a GTO) traps 109MPH... a basically stock auto mach 1 will not put 1.5 cars on it from a roll

but we are talking about bolton here, so he probably has no issue saying he has a car that can trap 112MPH easy

his parents may buy him more cars but his kill stories still end in the same results

I believe the OP's car is sporting a CAI along with a tune. Was the GTO having traction issues or something? Close race, regardless. That being said, nice run and sharp car.

 

and I can attest to a 6.0L GTO vs. a mach 1 discussion... because I've had plenty of races with my friends mach 1... which is manual... and I still pulled him up top... in my automatic

don't think you have been around enough to know the OP's mouth and his far fetched kill claims...

an automatic mach 1 is not pulling on a car that traps 109MPH... tune or not

 

LOL, a Mach 1 is not going to trap 109mph with just exhaust. It would need 4.10's to get up to 109mph and it certainly wouldn't be walking 109mph cars. The Mach is probably a 107mph car at best.
