After reading the other thread about an eclipse I figure Ill go ahead and post my recent experience with what was left of one. I was trying to wait till I could see this guy again and get a picture of this contraption. Last Friday I was on my way to pick my kid up from the sitter when I pulled up next to what could have quite possibly been the most hideous thing Ive ever seen. It was a 98 or so Eclipse that was missing the entire back panel and taillights, bumper, half of his side skirts and various other broken off pieces. Then we move to the paint job. I believe they call it mud brown mixed wih a bit a pavement tar. Then the cake topper....He had 2 about 8 inch fart cans coming out the back where a bumper should be and this wing that was about 4 feet tall and underneath all the mud and tar about 20 manufacturer stickers. This thing was absolutely nasty and I was almost scared to pull up next to it but curiosity killed me and I had to see what was driving it (No need to even get into that mess). Anyhow sitting at the light waiting for our side to turn green he revs it, I ignore him and turn my radio up. He revs again this time with a little more force so I look over and he gives me this nod and rev so I figure screw it Ill give it a go. The light hit green, I launched from about 2300 with just a little bark and jumped right out of the hole. I looked in the side mirror after going into 2nd and he was already about 2 cars back when I figured it wasnt worth getting a ticket for so I let off. Amazingly he didnt do the fly by like I expected, instead when he saw me laughing uncontrollably he stayed about 3 cars back till I turned onto another street.

Well thats how I popped my cherry and got my first kill (even though it was against a car that was half missing). I pick my kid up everyday going that way and Ive got my camera in my car now so I will be getting a picture of this thing cuz the description Ive given doesnt do it justice.

And before the rice wars start, this isnt a blast at eclipses I have been known to actually like a few of them but this one here should have been put out of its misery a long time ago.

Well I havent seen the car, or lack there off, since last week but Ive still got my camera to show you guys. Maybe Ill start driving my jeep in case he's seeing me and going the other way lol. Im half tempted to draw a pic of it and post it just so you can see how bad it was. With as little of a car there was it would only take me about 30 seconds to draw it lol. As far as having any Nitrous in his car goes, being that it looks like it already caught fire once Im not so sure he'd wanna go that route
