lol yeah I was waiting on this !!! not everyone is gonna agree about this , but I can pull up several post on here with people claiming to do 100 + and faster even several doing 140 . i did use some judgment . location was good . went at late night . its not a freeway , or a populate area , just straight road and trees . so let me put up my disclaimer .....Warning ! ..................professional driver on closed course , please do not attempt . I'm better then you !!!! yes I 'm joking on the last line :-)

I'm not making a comment on the where or when and the safety of it. Tho people mention how fast they've gone, your vid clearly shows the location and speed limit. IMHO it could potentially be used by law enforcement as evidence against you. IDK where this happened but clearly it was not Mexico based on the street names. It took me all of 3 mins to find exactly where in Laurel you made this run.

I guess it's good you can do that top end. What was holding you back before or is this what all 4.0 will do?????Gearing an issue or do the 4.0 not have enough power stock? When I'm in Delaware I usally redass on RT. 1 around 4 in the morning. 3 lanes and you have em all to yourself. Cant wait to start driving thru Delaware again. The Refinery I worked at will be reopen soon and I can get the hell out of Phila.
are ur tires rated for that speed?? But still, a cool run, Id take that vid off youtube, and blur (effect??) the road names off or something. Dunno much about video editing, but I suggest you do something about that, before the law does man. It may seem harmless, but better safe than sorry right?

I have several vids on youtube showing less than legal activity taking place between two cars. It has crossed my mind to remove them, simply because I have terrible luck and always get caught for everything. The way I see it, as of today, is that there are so many street racing, speeding, etc, vids on youtube, that our law enforcement must just be sifting through it looking for certain incidents related to particular cases they are investigating. If that wasn't the case, a lot of us would of been locked up a long time ago. Still NEVER a good idea to post proof of criminal activity, but I'm just as guilty of doing exactly what the OP did. Its a risk most of us speed demons choose to take in this hobby. I'm just glad we haven't lost anyone on here. Anyway, that's pretty crazy for a 4.0. I figured you would've run out of gear before hitting those speeds. Nice work!

Again, do you even know how much distance you'd need to stop the car at that speed? With what, factory brakes and tires probably?

what about the other person(s) in the car with you?
Figure out how fast your car goes at a track, when you are going 157 mph any pot hole, dip, strong cross wind can make things end quickly.
I personally think street racing is pretty dumb, but this is just asking for it.
