Search warrant for your home, computer siezed. Evidence found. Even if you think you have erased the information on your computer, your phone your printer, think again, it's still there. Beleive me, it is still there.

If I get enough information, which I think there is plenty, I would file a case with the the DA and have them review it.

Now the real question is, "Is this worth my time and effort to prosecute someone for reckless driving?"

HELL NO!!

I chase poeple who are stealing 20 cars a month and running from the police on a semi daily basis. There is no detective in the world that is interested in doing two weeks worth of work and dedicating numerous man hours to prosecute a misdemeanor crime with a $500 fine.

Off rant

Don't drive that fast on public roads please. I've done it, most here have done it, but I do not anymore.

Best of luck.
it s not that I didn't think I could b charged , but it would b a whole lot of work to get a conviction that would b left in a jury's hand . yes I think they have other priorities. but this being said , I definitely don't do this often , hardly ever see a 100 . I have been in three highway races , 2 not getting over 100 . I mostly race at the track which is 4 miles from me

Thanks, also I take it your arrogance is just a "jersey thing"? There is no reason to go about name-calling over a simple question of clarification. But anyway OP, did u ever try to video edit? Im curious as to how that went, since I myself have never done it.

Your reading comprehension just isn't that great is it? I didn't call you anything. I said you made a stupid post. You tried to be cute and make a backhanded remark to simon1's post. You were trying to be funny by basically calling him a hipocrit but you failed because you didn't understand his post. Maybe when your a little older you'll understand things a little better. I can't wait to see how your juvenile intellect interprets this posting.

Actually I was just interested in his line of work, cause some of my family is in the Computer Industry, and I have yet to see any of them come across this line of work, I just thought it was interesting, and was wondering what it is he exactly does. I didn't take the time to say all that because I though someone would just clarify enough for me to get the basic info..Little did I know you would explode on me, and make wild accusations. I was trying to be cute? I expect that vocabulary from my girlfriend, not a grown man. CALM DOWN, and lets just forget this happened ok? No harm, no foul but it seems like a really rude way for 2 people to have their first conversation. =)
Once again, I am sorry if I came off as "stupid or juvenile" as you put it, but that was not my intent. thanks.

Reading comprehension is not a prerequisite here.

Stick to what you really know. Cause you don't know what you are talking about.

160 in a 40 is a misdemeanor in California. Besides being completly idiotic.

Prove me wrong. Find the law and show me.

I was trying to make the point about how cops may look at the forums and use them for information because i have done the same thing. But it is not for things like street racing or high speed escapades. It's to catch thieves and the people that everyone on this forum dispuises. Whol likes to come out to their car and find their car gone or broken into and stuff missing. Or their house burglarized? No one. That's what I do.

The only time I could someone going so far as to do what I previously mentioned was when someone was involved in a serious accident or death fo some type. Street racing? Got better things to do.

Awesome.

Just be careful. You could be the best driver in the world and the next thing you someone nails while you are driving all crazy. Not your fault, but it wouldn't help your cause.

160 is stupid fast. Scary. Been there, done that and don't care to do it again.
