I put a Cobra intake, 1.72 Cobra rockers and a 65mm t/b on my car back in 1994. Car ran great Now i have a set of ported E7's and a Crower 15511 on it. It idled fine but did run rich at part throttle. Now with the looser convertor,it does surge a bit at idle. Since its not a daily driver, it really doesn't bother me. Our cars have similar 60ft's but you make more mph that me. My cars race weight is 3825, yours weighs about 3300?

Not too bad at all!! Yea my race weight was 3265 the last time I went to the track, but I just got some Lakewood 50/50 shocks for the rear 2night from my gf, and soon I hope to have upper and lowers and by spring a full tubular k-member kit with coil overs and 90/10 drag struts before the race season starts up..... Pull my smog pump off and I'm going to try to loose about 30-50lbs my damn self haha!! I wanna pull off 7.9x's in the 1/8 and maybe some 12.6-12.5x's in the 1/4 with a better tire harder launch and much better 60' but we'll see.

What kind of times and mph's are you pulling in your car??

Off the footbrake at 1100 rpm the car will 60ft a 1.83. At 2200/2500 i get a 1.79. The car has a 3500 stall and a transbrake. I haven't had a chance to launch up on the vertor or off the brake. Only had the car to the track 3 times with the new trans/vertor. Last 2 times i had probs with my MSD so i had no tach or shift lite. The car goes at the 330 5.42, 1/8 th 8.55, 78.10 mph, 1000ft 11.28 1/4 mile 13.59 @ 97.40. . I think off the t/b i should get the car into the 13.30's. Am also going to try diff shift points. The car comes out real hard. I posted a pic in the Street/Strip section. I am also throwing a 150 shot on it this winter.

Hell that ain't too bad at all man!! It would be nice if you could get that beast even lighter, but with the problems fixed and with the spray that thing ought to be right nasty especially out the hole coming off the trans break!!
