HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! could a done up honda civic ( ick ) beat a 5.0 mustang hatch in a race?!! you think!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cuase im arguing with my pal about it! he thinks honda civics are the ****!! but i say NOT!... so fill me in!!!! i dont no to much about cars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Depends on how "done up" the civic is and what kind of condition the 5.0 is in.

A Civic would have a hard time beating any healthy 5.0 unless the civic had a turbo or ALOT of nitrous.

Um whats done to the Civic, and whats done to the Mustang? Ive seen Civics crush Mustangs then again Ive seen mustangs crush civics. Its all going to depend whats done to each car.

i have race a bunch of the ricers and there are some that can keep up and i will admit i have been beaten, those little f#ckers can move when there done up right! they are made to redline ALOT!!! so they have the advantage and if they are done up they shouldnt have a prob keepin up or even beating a 5.0, as much as i hate to say it but its true, but just look at how much money they had to put in to there car to make it fast, from the factory there lucky to push 130 hr, we are 225 if not more stock!! they spend 25k on and drop anoter 10k just to get it where we are!! Uncle bens is good for them but i like 93 octane better! [sm=gears.gif]

 

welcome to the forums.. and i would sure hope you could beat a civic.. just have to remember how light they are..

 

97.3% of the time, you won't have much trouble with a Honda. It's the other 2.7% that you have to look out for.

If by done up you see a ton of exterior body crap on the car, then I doubt you'd have a problem.
