What up guys, I had an interesting encounter the other day and was didn't expect it to be so close.
Alright so I came across a 600CC Ninja, not sure what year it was (looked pretty new) but I got his attention with a few revs while he was a few cars back. Of course him being a bike and all it didn't take long for him to get up to me. He gunned it by me and when I caught back up to him we slowed to about 45MPH. There were no honks or anything but as soon as he gunned it I did the same. Since he got the jump he had a tiny bit of a head start on me, maybe half a car. I started in 3rd gear and we went until about 85MPH and it was pretty much an even pull all the way from 45 to 85.
I was expecting him to blow me away or at least just beat me. Based off of my numbers (see sig) what would you guys expect? Did he just suck at driving or what?
I have 3.73 gears too BTW.
But either way it was an awesome race and super exciting!

My guess.....he probably thought he would roll you in a stupid high gear. My friends have messed around before (trying to beat me while doing wheelies and such). When they give it there all its no contest but sometimes when they screw around I do much better than even I think I should. The common screwup for them is starting off in a really high gear thinking I'm so much slower it won't matter.
Definately started in the wrong gear. Newer 600's are pretty beastly. Doesn't really matter which brand either. They're all pretty comparable. Here's a good video of how slow they aren't.
